Electric Power Production:

The plant is currently generating electricity. A single generator produces 200KW of power and a second unit is waiting to be installed. The plant can power about 200 homes and can power an onsite residence or business.

History

In 1921, the powerplant was built to provide electricity to a stone mill in nearby Schuyler, home of the Walton family from the 1970s TV show. The plant was extensively renovated and brought back online in 2008.
