The Eggleston name appears with various spellings including: Eggleston, Egleston, Eggelston, Egelston, Eggliston, Egliston, Eagleston, Egglestone, Eglestone, Eccleston, Eccelston, Ecclestone and many others. Most of these Eggs are from the same rooster. Most North Americans are descended from either Bygod (aka Bagot, Baggot, Bigod, or Bigot) Eggleston who came from England to Connecticut in 1630 or from one of two Richard Egglestons, who arrived in Virginia from England in 1635.
All are invited to participate in building our world wide Eggleston family tree.
